Coca-Cola plans to celebrate Nigeria’s 60th Independence anniversary big as 2Baba, Yemi Alade, Rema and Cobhams will be performing live at Coca-Cola’s first live virtual-Concert on October 1.
Coca-Cola says it wants to uplift and bring people together for the Independence Day celebration.
The concert tagged #NaijaLikeNeverBefore is aiming to set a new record as they assemble the largest number of people to sing Nigeria’s National Anthem at once.
Marketing Communications Director – West Africa Business Unit Coca-Cola Nigeria, Monali Shah commented, said: “We created the music experience to celebrate and honour the nation as one indivisible country.
“#NaijaLikeNeverBefore will uplift the spirit of togetherness, foster authenticity and positivity of Nigerians as we celebrate Naija @60”.
Young music sensation, Rema on a recent radio interview, expressed excitement to be part of the event.
He called on all Nigerians home and abroad especially his Ravers to join him and other Afrobeats music superstars in putting Nigeria on the world map as the happiest and most energetic nation in the world.
Explaining how to join the concert, Rema said: “The concert will be live streamed on the Coca-Cola YouTube channel at 10:30AM on October 1 so just go and set a reminder but don’t stop there, set the reminder on your phone, TV and tell a friend to tell a friend to tell a friend so they don’t miss the grandest banger ever!”
