Nigeria Reports 125 more COVID-19 Cases

An additional 125 persons tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, raising the overall case count to 57,849, according to the Centre for Disease Control.

On a positive note, the number of patients successfully managed and discharged nationwide now stand at 49,098.

113 more recoveries were recorded on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the death toll remained unchanged at 1,100.

NCDC said: ‘’On the 24th of September 2020, 125 new confirmed cases were recorded in Nigeria.

‘’Till date, 57849 cases have been confirmed, 49098 cases have been discharged and 1102 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory,
